Mage

Mages wear light cloth and give the elements a will. One specialisation commands the field from range. The other walks in with an estoc and writes fire, frost and storm along the blade.

Two specialisations

Elementalist is the staff caster of fields, storms and denial. Battlemage is a short-range spellfighter: stances, charges and empowered hits through an estoc, never a staff.

Short-range / melee magical DPS

A weapon-led elemental spellfighter. The estoc is the focus. Flame, Frost and Storm are not sung from a staff; they ride the point of the blade.
